Atlas of Canada -- provides "the most interesting, dynamic and comprehensive collection of maps and related information about Canada available anywhere on the Internet, with effective and intuitive tools for users to access them." Last examined on 03/16/07.

Canadian Geographic -- "Canada's leading magazine of exploration and discovery. Each issue delivers unmatched coverage of issues related to our people and our country, all brought to vivid life through stunning photography and unforgettable writing." Canadian Council for Geographical Education: "a joint initiative of The Royal Canadian Geographical Society and the National Geographic Society of Washington, D.C. established in 1993. The programs of the CCGE aim to strengthen geographic education in the classroom. In addition to increasing the emphasis on geography within the school system, the CCGE endeavours to increase the public awareness of the importance of geographical literacy." Geographical Names of Canada -- "data bank of Canada's geographical names, maintained by the Geographical Names Section, part of the Centre for Topographic Information, Geomatics Canada, Natural Resources Canada. Its purpose is to store names that have been approved by the Canadian Permanent Committee on Geographical Names (CPCGN) and to make these authoritative records available for government and public use." GeoGratis -- "...portal provided by the Earth Sciences Sector (ESS) of Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) which provides geospatial data at no cost via your Web browser. The data will be useful whether you're a novice who needs a geographic map for a presentation, or an expert who wants to overlay a vector layer of digital data on a classified multiband image, with a digital elevation model as a backdrop.The geospatial data are grouped in collections and are compatible with the most popular geographic information systems (GIS), with image analysis systems and the graphics applications of editing software. Geomatics Canada -- Home page of the national agency tasked "To provide a reliable system of surveys, maps, remotely sensed data and geographically referenced information describing the Canadian landmass, for use by our clients, for the formulation of public policy, and for developing the infrastructure to support internationally competitive Canadian enterprises through the acquisition and dissemination of topographical and geographical information and remotely sensed data, the development and transfer of associated technologies to clients, and the provision of support for related international commercial activities."
