Mission Statement: Roundtable is meant to be an informal exchange of ideas with emphasis on teaching of Canada and on student participation in the sessions. Flexibility on sessions, seating, no-shows, late arrivals, etc. is necessary.

Side tour to: "Shared Waters: Natives and French Newcomers on the Great Lakes" exhibit at the Fort Miami Heritage Society (St. Joseph, Michigan) -- Vans (provided by WMU) would leave around 3 P.M.; they would arrive at St. Joe around 4 P.M. There would probably be a reception (hosted by the Heritage Society). The vans would return to Kalamazoo around 7:30 P.M. This trip would also be open to non-Roundtable participants. We would need a minimum of 20 people; WMU would need a commitment by mid-March.
